I’m a composer and pianist/multiinstrumentalist, born and raised in Västerås, Sweden. I was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where I received my bachelors and masters degree. Besides piano, I also play guitar, electric bass, percussion, drums and organ. I also have many years of experience as a choral singer.
At the present moment, I compose choral music, chamber music and perform as a pianist. Among the choirs I have collaborated with are Katarina Nova from Katarina church in Stockholm, Mariachoir in Västerås cathedral, Västerås chamber choir, Uppsala vokalensemble and Gideonsbergs vokalensemble. Upcoming projects include a danish-swedish project with Frederiksborg boys choir, Helsingborg boys choir and the boys choir of Lund cathedral.
Among the musicians I’ve worked with are harpist Stina Hellberg-Agback, pianist Bengt Forsberg and violinists Eva Lindal and Gudrun Dahlkvist. I composed the piece Recordare for harpist Stina Hellberg-Agback to be performed at the opening of Kyrkomötet in Uppsala cathedral 2017.
I have also composed and arranged music for theatre, working with director Gustav Englund and the regional theatre in Blekinge and Kronoberg county.
When time permits, I work on my soloproject ARKIPELAG and other projects, such as Jonne Bentlöv Quintet. My musical past is very diverse and I have taken part in groups and projects ranging from free improvisation, jazz and folk music, to indiepop/shoegaze, ambient music, club music and much more.
